The Electric Pine Kit - Vermont Green

An opportunity to partner with Vermont Green & their legendary team was something I couldn’t pass up. Their stance for environmental and social justice alike and the positive impact soccer could make within is is not only something commendable, but something I heavily align with. This was a no hesitation project and working with Matthew Wolff, co-founder, was a chance I feel grateful to have had.

The kick off behind the pine as a symbol was it’s importance to the state of Vermont. Outside of it being in the State Seal, it’s a symbol of resilience, of adaptability, and of strength. Given that pines have an innate ability to thrive across time as well as the harsh variety of environments that exist, a bold pattern to own that felt the properly rooted option. (pun intended)

The Pine Pattern used in the Electric Pine Jersey was additionally utilized as a pre-match jersey pattern as well as a ball. There was intentional simplicity behind the execution, it should be legible and representative of it’s backstory. In this instance Vermont Green’s messaging is similar to this jersey as they want to be integrated into the community much the way a Pine Tree does. Against all adversity, the pine rarely wavers.
